Joel Grey to Be Honored at National Corporate Theatre Fund Gala, Hosted by Lewis Black

Tony and Oscar Award winner Joel Grey will receive the 2011 Theater Artist Award at the National Corporate Theatre Fund’s 2011 Chariman’s Awards Gala, to be presented at St. Regis New York on Monday, May 2 beginning at 6:30pm. Award-winning performer Lewis Black will host.

The gala will also honor Charles Dillingham, the Managing Director of Center Theatre Group in Los Angeles with the Achievement in Theatre Award, and global financial services company BNY Mellon with the Corporate Leadership Award.

Grey is currently starring on Broadway in Anything Goes and directing the Broadway production of The Normal Heart. He won Tony and Academy Awards for his work in Cabaret on Broadway and on screen. His many other stage credits include George M!, Goodtime Charley, The Grand Tour, Chicago and Wicked.
