Original Broadway cast members Hunter Foster and Robert Britton Lyons will return to the musical Million Dollar Quartet, at the Nederlander Theatre, on Tuesday, May 3.

Million Dollar Quartet was inspired by the famed 1956 recording session that brought together Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and Elvis Presley — along with Sam Phillips, founder of Sun Records. Eric Schaeffer has directed the production.

Foster, who plays Sam Phillips, received a Tony nomination for Little Shop of Horrors, with other Main Stem credits including Urinetown and The Producers. He most recently performed in the world premiere musical Little Miss Sunshine at La Jolla Playhouse.

Lyons, who plays Carl Perkins, recently completed a run in the London production of Million Dollar Quartet in the same role.
