Catherine Brookman, Starr Busby, Carrie Manolakos to Join Morgan Karr for May 13 CD Celebration

Catherine Brookman, Starr Busby, and Carrie Manolakos will join Morgan Karr for a concert celebrating the release of his self-titled EP, to be offered on Friday, May 13 at 11pm at Joe’s Pub. The EP will be available for digital download beginning May 11. Justin Goldner will serve as musical director for the performance, which will have video projections by James Daniel.

Along with the songs from the EP, the concert will feature other original songs by Karr as well as his twist on hits by One Republic, Bruno Mars, and The Fugees. The concert will also feature Goldner (bass), Alison Seidner (cello), Adam Stoler (guitar), Drew McKean (drums), and James Olmstead (keys).

Karr appeared on Broadway in Spring Awakening. In addition, he won first place at the legendary “Amateur Night At The Apollo” in 2010.
