Broadway Cast Recording of Wonderland to Have May 3 Release

Masterworks Broadway will release the Broadway cast recording of Wonderland – Alice Through a Whole New Looking Glass on May 3. Composer Frank Wildhorn, along with David Lai and Jason Howland, has produced the recording.

The 21-track disc will include such songs as “The Mad Hatter,” heard on both the recording of the show’s original Florida cast and Linda Eder’s recent release, Now, as well as “Welcome to Wonderland,” “Drink Me,” “I Am My Own Invention,” and “Go With the Flow.”

Wonderland will officially open at Broadway’s Marquis Theatre on April 17. With music by Wildhorn, a book by Gregory Boyd and Jack Murphy, and lyrics by Murphy, the show has been directed by Gregory Boyd and features choreography by Marguerite Derricks.

The cast features Janet Dacal as Alice, Darren Ritchie as White Knight, E. Clayton Cornelious as Caterpillar, Jose Llana as El Gato, Karen Mason as Queen of Hearts, Kate Shindle as Mad Hatter, Carly Rose Sonenclar as Chloe, Edward Staudenmayer as White Rabbit and Danny Stiles as Morris.
