Brian Costello, Elise Stone, Josh Tyson, et al. Set for Phoenix Theatre Ensemble’s Mother Courage and Her Children

Phoenix Theatre Ensemble has announced casting for its concert reading presentation of Betrolt Brecht’s Mother Courage and Her Children, to be offered on May 10 at 7:30pm and May 14-15 at 3pm at the Wild Project. Robert Hupp will direct and Ellen Mandel will provide musical direction for the piece, being offered as part of the company’s Brecht-by Bentley series.

The play centers on a woman, who with her 3 children, sells wares to both combatant sides of the 30 Years’ War.

The company will feature Elise Stone in the title role, along with Josh Tyson, Brian Costello, Joseph Menino, Amy Fitts, Kelli Holsopple, Dan Matissa, John Lenartz, Laura Piquado, Ariel Estrada, and Craig Smith.
