Sarah Jessica Parker Among Executive Producers of Bravo TV’s Work of Art Reality Series

Tony Award winner Sarah Jessica Parker, along with Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz, Alison Benson and Eli Holzman, will serve as executive producer of the new Bravo TV reality series Work of Art: The Next Great Artist, which will debut on the channel June 9. China Chow will serve as both host and one of the judges

In the series, fourteen of the art world’s most talented, up-and-coming artists assemble in New York where they will compete for a solo show at the Brooklyn Museum and a cash prize of $100,000. In each episode, the contestants will be faced with the challenge of creating unique pieces in a variety of mediums such as painting, sculpture, photography, collage, and industrial design.

Joining Chow as judges on the series will be Bill Powers, a New York Gallery owner and literary art contributor; Jerry Saltz, the senior art critic for New York Magazine; and Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn, curator and owner of Salon94 gallery in New York City. Additionally, art auctioneer Simon de Pury will lend his expertise as a mentor to the contestants. Guest judges on the show will include mixed-media artist Jon Kessler, photographer Andres Serrano, and hyper-realistic painter Richard Phillips.
