LOVE, an evening of short plays on love, was held on Monday, April 19 at The Angel Orensanz Foundation. The event benefited WET Productions, a non-profit organization created to empower women and girls by producing media that challenges female stereotypes and advocates for equality.

Performers for the evening included Jennifer Carpenter, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Rosemarie Dewitt, Rachel Dratch, Mamie Gummer, Carla Gugino, Hamish Linklater, Ron Livingston, Maulik Pancholy, Zachary Quinto, and Jennifer Westfedlt.

Contributing playwrights included Julia Cho, Megan Mostyn-Brown, Sarah Treem, Laura Eason, Susanna Fogel and Joni Lefkowitz

At the event, producer Lynda Obst received the first annual "We Empower Together Award," which honors a woman in the media whose accomplishments have paved the way for other women to succeed. An additional award was given to HBO vice president Maria Zuckerman, recognizing her achievements in producing groundbreaking female-driven projects.
