Whoopi Goldberg, Matthew Modine, and the Radio City Rockettes participated in the Sixth Annual Garden of Dreams Spring Talent Show on Wednesday, April 28, at Radio City Music Hall.

They joined host Jill Martin and children from various Garden of Dreams partner organizations. The kids all face devastating problems — whether they relate to illness, homelessness, poverty, foster care or tragedy.

The theme of the show was “City of Dreams.” On stage, outfitted in a city-landscape set, the children performed a variety of NYC-inspired dancing, singing and instrumental acts.

The performers included a four year-old tap dancer from NYU Medical Center, a seven year-old piano player from Hackensack University Medical Center, and a dance troupe from the Dunlevy Milbank Center affiliated with Children’s Aid Society.

The Garden of Dreams Foundation is a non-profit charity that works closely with all areas of Madison Square Garden including MSG Entertainment, the New York Knicks, Rangers and Liberty, MSG Media, and Fuse “to make dreams come true for kids in crisis.”
