Stephen Sondheim and the cast of A Little Night Music autographed copies of the new Broadway cast recording of the show on Tuesday, April 6 at the Walter Kerr Theatre. The event coincided with the release of the two-disc set from Nonesuch Records and PS Classics.
A Little Night Music features music and lyrics by Sondheim and book by Hugh Wheeler. The production, directed by Trevor Nunn, stars Academy Award winner Catherine Zeta-Jones (Desiree Armfeldt), five-time Tony Award winner Angela Lansbury (Madame Armfeldt), and Alexander Hanson (Fredrik Egerman).
The cast also includes Aaron Lazar (Count Carl-Magnus Malcolm), Erin Davie (Countess Charlotte Malcolm), Leigh Ann Larkin (Petra), Hunter Ryan Herdlicka (Henrik Egerman), Ramona Mallory (Anne Egerman), Bradley Dean (Frid), as well as Katherine Leigh Doherty and Keaton Whitaker who alternate as Fredrika; and Marissa McGowan, Betsy Morgan, Karen Murphy, Jayne Paterson, and Kevin David Thomas.
