The Paley Center for Media celebrated the multi-decade television career of Oscar and Tony, award-winning actor Joel Grey with An Evening with Joel Grey, on Tuesday, April 27.

Grey discussed the important role television has played in his career. The evening also featured a video retrospective of the actor's most memorable (and some rarely seen) television work.

Guests in attendance included composer Marvin Hamlisch, Paley Center President Pat Mitchell, songwriters Marilyn and Alan Bergman, and Grey's daughter, actress Jennifer Grey.

Grey won a Tony for the original Broadway production of Cabaret, and an Academy Award for its film version. He was also Tony-nominated for his work in George M!, Goodtime Charley, and The Grand Tour. His additional Broadway credits include Wicked, Chicago, and Half a Sixpence.
