A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales for Anthony J. Wilkinson’s My Big Gay Italian Wedding will be donated to Broadway Impact, a grassroots organization of the theater community mobilizing in support of marriage equality. Directed by Teresa A. Cicala, the production will begin performances May 5 at St. Luke’s Theatre.

As previously announced, Reichen Lehmkuhl will star in the play that focuses on two gay men as they plan their wedding and the people around them, including an overbearing Italian mother, a jealous ex-boyfriend, the wedding planner from Hell, and an assortment of family and friends.
