Laura Linney, Patrick Breen to Be Eligible in Leading Categories for 2010 Tony Awards

The Tony Awards Administration Committee has announced additional eligibility rulings for the 2009-2010 season. The committee’s fourth and final meeting will be held on April 30. The Tony Awards will be broadcast in a live three-hour ceremony from Radio City Music Hall on the CBS television network on Sunday, June 13.

The committee discussed six shows: Time Stands Still, The Miracle Worker, A Behanding in Spokane , Next Fall, Looped, and All About Me. All decisions except those below were consistent with opening night credits.

Laura Linney will be considered eligible in the Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play category for her performance in Time Stands Still.

Sam Rockwell, Anthony Mackie and Zoe Kazan will be considered eligible in the Best Performance by a Featured Actor/Actress in a Play categories respectively for their performances in A Behanding in Spokane.

Patrick Breen will be considered eligible in the Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play category for his performance in Next Fall.
