Original cast member Jennifer Barnhart will return to the Tony Award-winning musical Avenue Q, now playing Off-Broadway at New World Stages, on Sunday, May 2.

Barnhart performed with the show for over seven years from the very beginning at the Vineyard Theatre through its entire run on Broadway. She will once again be playing the roles of Mrs. T, Bad Idea Bear and other characters upon her return to the show.

The actress/puppeteer will join a cast that also features Sarah Stiles (Kate Monster & Lucy), Seth Rettberg (Princeton & Rod), Ann Sanders (Christmas Eve), Cullen R. Titmas (Nicky & Trekkie Monster), Nicholas Kohn (Brian), and Danielle K. Thomas (Gary Coleman).

Barnhart recently appeared in Jim Henson’s Emmet Otter at Goodspeed and Stuffed and Unstrung at the Union Square Theater. She, along with the entire original cast of Avenue Q, is the recipient of an Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Ensemble Performance and Puppet Artistry.
