Hal Holbrook to Join FX's Sons of Anarchy

Hal Holbrook
Holbrook won the Tony for the solo show Mark Twain Tonight, with which he continues to tour. His many other Broadway credits include An American Daughter, Does a Tiger Wear a Necktie?, I Never Sang for My Father, and The Apple Tree.
He was nominated for an Oscar for his role in Into the Wild and most recently starred in the film That Evening Sun. He is a five-time Emmy Award winner; his many television credits include The Bold Ones: The Senator, Pueblo, Lincoln, Evening Shade and Designing Women, in which he appeared opposite his wife, Dixie Carter, who died earlier this month.
