The event will also feature performances by Frank London and his Klezmer Brass All Stars; and Anat Atzmon and the Yiddishpiel of Tel Aviv, as well as from members of the Dora Wasserman Yiddish Theater of Montreal.

Alongside the entertainment, honors will be paid to Schools Chancellor Joel I. Klein; Aaron Lansky, the founder of the National Yiddish Book Center in Amherst Massachusetts, and Bryna Wasserman, the artistic director of Montreal's Segal Centre for the Arts and director of the Dora Wasserman Yiddish Theatre.
