Rick Holmes to Join Cast of Off-Broadway’s Distracted

Rick Holmes will join the cast of the Roundabout’s Off-Broadway production of Distracted, currently at the Laura Pels Theatre, beginning April 7. He will play the role of Dad, replacing Josh Stamberg, who is leaving the production due to a prior filming commitment.

Lisa Loomer’s play, directed by Mark Brokaw, is a look at parenting in the age of the Internet and Ritalin. Cynthia Nixon stars as Mama, with the cast also including Peter Benson, Shana Dowdeswell, Lisa Emery, Natalie Gold, Matthew Gumley, Mimi Lieber, and Aleta Mitchell.

Holmes’ Broadway credits include Monty Python’s Spamalot, Major Barbara, and Cabaret.
