Jollyship the Whiz-Bang creators Nick Jones and Raja Azar have developed the all-ages puppet show, The Colonists, to play the Brick Theater, April 26-May 24, with an opening set for May 3. Robin Frohardt will direct.

This lyrical fantasy, inspired by the world of the bee, tells the story of an earthworm who dreams of flying, a rabbit with a penchant for pie making, and a journey of discovery into the pollen collecting-industrial complex. It will utilize electricified insect puppets, small scale pyrotechnics, and eccentric music.

The show will be performed by Matthew Brooks, Carole D’Agostino, Honey Goodenough, and Katie McClenahan. The puppets are designed by Robin Frohardt, based on original designs by Nick Jones. Azar will serve as music director.
