Kate Shindle, Morgan Karr, and More Set for Rated RSO at Joe’s Pub on May 4

Kate Shindle, Morgan Karr, Alex Brightman, Lindsay Mendez, Natalie Weiss, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Cait Doyle, Mat Burrow, Arielle Jacobs, Katie Gassert, Geoff Kidwell, Lyle Mackston, Grace Wall, and Jennifer DeRosa will be featured in Rated RSO: The Music and Lyrics of Ryan Scott Oliver, to be presented at Joe’s Pub on May 4 at 11:30pm.

This revue of Oliver’s music promises to “bring sexy schoolteachers, provocative rent-boys, obsessive homicidal teenagers, and fairy dust to Joe’s Pub.” Travis Greisler will direct, with music direction by B. T. Ryback.

Oliver is a 2009 Jonathan Larson Grant recipient, and his works include Mrs. Sharp, Darling, and Out of My Head. He is a Dramatists Guild Fellow, and the recipient of numerous awards including the ASCAP Foundation Harold Adamson Award for Excellence in Lyric Writing.
