Israel Horovitz Set for Q&A after Mid-East Pieces (in) Process

Playwright Israel Horovitz will participate in a question and answer session after an evening of readings of four of his short plays, Mid-East Pieces (in) Process, which is set to be performed at the Bleecker Street Theatre (April 15) and at IONA College in New Rochelle (April 17). Michael LoPorto will direct.

Each presentation will include a reading of Security; a staged reading of A Mother’s Love; a fully stage production of Beirut Rocks; as well as a reading of his newest short work, What Strong Fences Make. The cast will feature Tal Ashe, AnaMarie Correa, Danielle Eliav, Charles Everett, Kendra Leigh Landon, Gil Ron, Francisco Solorzano, Joseph Sousa, and Christopher Whalen.

Horovitz is the author of such plays as The Indian Wants the Bronx, Line, The Primary English Class, and Park Your Car in Harvard Yard.
