Broadway’s Impressionism to Close on May 10

The Broadway production of Michael Jacobs’ Impressionism will close on Sunday, May 10 after 23 previews and 56 regular performances. The show is directed by Jack O’Brien.

The play is the story of a world traveling photojournalist and a New York gallery owner who discover each other and also that there might be an art to repairing broken lives. It stars Tony Award winners Jeremy Irons and Joan Allen and also features Marsha Mason, André De Shields, Michael T. Weiss, Aaron Lazar, Margarita Levieva, and Hadley Delany.

The creative team includes Scott Pask (scenic design), Catherine Zuber (costume design), Natasha Katz (lighting design), Elaine McCarthy (projection design), Leon Rothenberg (sound design), and Bob James (original music).
