Sandy Duncan and Karen Ziemba to Announce Outer Critics Circle Award Nominees

Sandy Duncan and Karen Ziemba will announce the nominations for the 2007-2008 Outer Critics Circle Awards at 11am on Monday, April 21 at the Algonquin Hotel.

The winners of the awards, to be presented in 23 categories, will be announced on Monday, May 12, with the awards ceremony to take place at Sardi’s on Thursday, May 22.

Duncan is a three-time Tony Award nominee for Canterbury Tales, The Boy Friend, and Peter Pan and will appear next month in the City Center Encores! production of No, No, Nanette.

Ziemba currently appears on Broadway in Curtains, for which she received an Outer Critics Circle Award and Tony and Drama Desk nominations. She won a Tony for Contact, and received additional Tony nominations for Steel Pier and Never Gonna Dance. The pair will also co-star in a reading of The Real Tabasco on April 14 at Connecticut’s Westport Country Playhouse.
