Teri Lamm, Heather Raffo, and Rocco Sisto will star in the New York premiere of Judith Thompson’s Palace of the End, presented by Epic Theatre Ensemble. Directed by Daniella Topol, the play will run June 11-July 13 in the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre at Playwrights Horizons, with an opening set for June 23.

The play is an incendiary and haunting triptych of monologues that intimately explores the experiences of three key figures of the Middle East crisis. It recently won the 2008 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize for playwriting.

The production will include scenic design by Mimi Lien, lighting design by Justin Townsend, costume design by Theresa Squire, sound design by Ron Russell, projection design by Leah Gelpe, and original music by Katie Down.

Lamm appeared on Broadway in The Iceman Cometh, and Off-Broadway in Cyrano de Bergerac. She is a founding artist of Epic Theatre Ensemble, with credits including Hannah and Martin, Habitat, and Time & The Conways. Raffo is best known for her solo show 9 Parts of Desire, which won a 2005 Lucille Lortel award. Additional credits include The French Lieutenant’s Woman, Over The River and Through the Woods, and Macbeth. Sisto’s Broadway credits include Amadeus, A Month in the County, and The Comedy of Errors. Recent Off-Broadway credits include Ipheginia 2.0, KAOS, and Souls of Naples.

Thompson’s other plays include Enoch Arden at the Hope Shelter, Capture Me, Perfect Pie, Sled, Lion in the Streets, I Am Yours, White Biting Dog, and The Crackwalker.
