De Guzman, Farrar, Moriber, Rossman, et al. Set for Shlomo

Full cast and creative team have been announced for Shlomo: The Life and Music of Shlomo Carlebach, about the 20th-century rabbi and folk musician, to play April 22-May 9 at the Museum of Jewish Heritage. The production will be directed by David Schechter, who is also the lyricist.

The show, which will feature Carlebach’s music, has a book by Daniel Wise and additional material by Carlebach’s daughter Neshama. The creative team also includes Keith Levenson (musical arrangements), Steve Margoshes (orchestrations), Beowulf Borrit (sets), Tobin Ost (costumes), Jeff Croiter (lighting), and Shannon Slaton (sound).

The cast will feature Josie de Guzman, Thursday Farrar, Paul Jackel, James Judy, Aaron Kaburick, Jillian Louis, Brooke Moriber, Gary Patent, David Reiser, Luke Rosen, David Rossmer, Daniel Rudin, Talya Smilowitz, Noah Solomon, and Lauren Weisman.
