Stage and television stars Paul Benedict and Max Wright will play the roles of Hirst and Spooner in A.R.T.'s revival of Harold Pinter's No Man's Land, May 12-June 10. The show, to be directed by David Wheeler, will open officially on May 16.

The play concerns the meeting in a pub of two writers whose pasts may or may not intersect. The cast of the A.R.T. production also includes Lewis Wheeler as Briggs and David Henry Clarke as Foster; the creative team includes J. Michael Griggs (sets), David Reynoso (costumes), Kenneth Helvig (lighting), and David Remedios (sound).

Wheeler's previous directorial credits includes the Broadway productions of Richard III and The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel, plus 13 other Pinter works, including The Homecoming and The Caretaker.

Among Benedict's many stage credits are the Broadway productions of Hughie and The Music Man; he is best known for his work on the classic television sitcom The Jeffersons. Wright starred in the Lincoln Center productions of Ivanov, Twelfth Night, and The Cherry Orchard, and is well known for starring on the TV sitcom ALF. Both actors have previously worked at A.R.T.
