The concerts will be conducted by Bramwell Tovey. The Avery Fisher program, entitled Moscow on the Hudson, will also feature works by Glinka, Khachaturian, Borodin, and Tchaikovsky, while the Bethel Woods concert will include works by Sousa and Bernstein, along with Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture."
Kline recently played the title role in The Public Theater's production of King Lear. He received Tony Awards for his work in The Pirates of Penzance and On the Twentieth Century, and an Academy Award for A Fish Called Wanda.
