Full Cast Set for Yale Rep’s The Unmentionables

Lisa Emery, Kenn E. Head, Jon Hill, Chiké Johnson, Ora Jones, Sam Gordon, Brian Hutchinson, and Paul Vincent O’Connor will star in the Yale Repertory Theatre’s production of Bruce Norris’ The Unmentionables, May 4-26. The production, which will open officially on May 10, will be directed by Anna D. Shapiro, who also helmed the play’s world premiere at Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre.

In the play, tensions reach a boiling point when Americans filled with beneficence and missionary zeal clash with each other and the local residents of an African town. Norris’ other work include The Pain and the Itch, We All Went Down to Amsterdam, and The Vanishing Heart.
