Singer-songwriter Duncan Sheik, the composer of the hit Broadway musical Spring Awakening, has added a stop at the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, New Jersey to his current national concert tour. He will play the venue at 8pm on Thursday, May 10.

Sheik’s other upcoming tour stops include San Francisco’s The Independent (April 25), Minneapolis’ Varsity Theater (April 30), Ann Arbor’s Ark (May 6), Pittsburgh’s Club Cafe (May 7) and New York City’ Society for Ethical Culture Concert Hall (May 15).

Spring Awakening bowed at the Atlantic Theater Company last summer before transferring to the Eugene O’Neill Theatre in the fall. The show, based on the play by Frank Wedekind, recently received six Lucille Lortel Award nominations, including Best Musical, and is a finalist for the Dramatists Guild’s coveted Hull-Warner Award.
