The Cape Playhouse has announced the line-up for its 2007 summer season.

The first offering will be Ted Dykstra’s and Richard Greenblatt’s 2 Pianos 4 Hands, which follows the 15-year path of two very talented pianists. The production, to be directed by Tom Frey, will star Evans Haile and Andrew Gerle (June 18-30). It will be followed by Paul Rudnick’s Regrets Only, which concerns a powerhouse attorney, his socialite wife, and their closest friend, a world famous fashion designer, who lock horns over romance, marriage, and friendship. James Brennan will direct, and the cast will feature Dee Hoty, Joel Higgins, Harry Groener, and Eden Riegel (July 2-14).

The season continues with two productions directed by Mark Martino: The Tony Award-winning musical Thoroughly Modern Millie, starring Terry Burrell, Andrea Chamberlain, and Andrew Rannels (July 16-28); and Beehive…the ’60s Musical, with a cast led by Kearran Giovanni (July 30-August 11). Up next will be Gerald Moon’s comedy thriller Corpse, starring Brent Harris and Brad Bellamy (August 13-25).

Ken Ludwig’s comedy Lend Me a Tenor, a hilarious farce of mistaken identity and multiple misunderstandings, will conclude the season (August 27-September 8). Pamela Hunt will direct an all-star cast including Judy Blazer, Jeff Brooks, Jennifer Cody, Robert Cuccioli, Hunter Foster, Leah Hocking, and Virginia Seidel.
