Complete Casting Set for Broadway Musicals of 1959

Complete casting has been announced for The Broadway Musicals of 1959, the latest installment of the Broadway by the Year series, which will take place at 8pm on Monday, April 30 at The Town Hall. The show will be directed by Marc Kudisch, and is created, hosted and written by TheaterMania contributor Scott Siegel.

The cast will feature Broadway veterans Mary Bond Davis, Manoel Felciano, Mark Jacoby, Nancy Lemanager, Josh Prince, and Emily Skinner, New York City Opera star Sarah Jane McMahon, and Emmy Award-winning comedian Bruce Vilanch, who played Edna Turnblad in the Broadway production of Hairspray.

Among the musicals to be featured that evening will be Gypsy, The Sound of Music, Once Upon A Mattress, Fiorello, Take Me Along and Little Mary Sunshine.
