The Off-Broadway hit Spalding Gray: Stories Left to Tell, starring Kathleen Chalfant, Hazelle Goodman, Ain Gordon, and Frank Wood, has announced its next group of guest stars.

The role of “Career” will be played by comedian and former Hairspray star Bruce Vilanch, April 24-May 6, followed by radio personality Valerie Smaldone (May 8-13), Nip/Tuck star Dylan Walsh (May 15-20), and Bones star David Boreanaz (May 20-27).

The show is co-conceived by Gray’s widow, Kathleen Russo, and Lucy Sexton, who also directs. The pair has assembled well-known pieces by the late author and playwright — including excerpts from Swimming to Cambodia and Monster in a Box — plus never-before-seen work to chronicle the life of Gray, who committed suicide in 2004 after a two-year-battle with depression caused by a head injury sustained in a car accident in Ireland.
