2007 Elliot Norton Award Nominees Announced

Nominations for the 2007 Elliot Norton Awards, honoring the best of Boston-area theater, were announced this morning. The awards ceremony will be held at 7pm on Monday, May 21 at the Cutler Majestic Theatre and will include performances by the casts of the three shows nominated for Outstanding Musical.

Leading the nominations are the Lyric Stage Company of Boston’s production of Miss Witherspoon, the American Repertory Theatre’s production of Britannicus, and the Huntington Theatre Company’s production of Theresa Rebeck’s Mauritius. Acting nominees include Michael Aronov, Marin Ireland, Cherry Jones, Jacqui Parker, and Paula Plum.
