Orth, Pankow, Shenkman, et al. Set for Tulip Craze Reading

Susan Bloemmart, Elizabeth Moss, Zak Orth, John Pankow, Ben Shenkman, and Ray Anthony Thomas will star in a free reading of Jay Reiss’ play The Tulip Craze at 7pm at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street). The reading will be directed by Trip Cullman.

The play concerns a man who decides to quit what he admits is the greatest job in the world. Reiss is the co-creator of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Cullman’s many directorial credits include Dog Sees God and Swimming in the Shallows.

Bloemmart was recently seen in Measure for Pleasure. Orth was last seen Off-Broadway in Rope. Pankow is best known for his work on the TV series Mad About You. Shenkman has starred on Broadway in Sight Unseen and Proof and the HBO film Angels in America. Thomas’ Off-Broadway credits include Force Continuum and Saved or Destroyed.
