Tim DeKay, Barbara Garrick, Charles Haid, Catherine Kellner, Daniel London, John Carroll Lynch, Ali Marsh, and Reg Rogers will star in the world premiere of Beth Henley’s Ridiculous Fraud, set for a run at the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, New Jersey from May 5 through June 12. Directed by Lisa Peterson, the show will officially open on May 12.

The play concerns a disastrous New Orleans wedding rehearsal dinner, only the latest in a series of unfortunate events that befall the unlucky Clay Brothers. Henley won the Pulitzer Prize for Crimes of the Heart; her other plays include Impossible Marriage and The Miss Firecracker Contest.

Haid starred in the Broadway production of Godspell and is best known for his work on the TV series Hill Street Blues. Kellner was seen in the New Group production of Hurlyburly. London appeared in the Roundabout Theatre Company’s Impossible Marriage and may be seen in the film version of Rent. Lynch stars on the TV series Close to Home. Marsh’s credits include the film Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Rogers has appeared on the New York stage in such shows as Holiday, The Dazzle, and Bach at Leipzig.
