Dennehy, Greer, Rashad Will Be Honored by DePaul University

The Theatre School at DePaul University will honor actors Brian Dennehy, Judy Greer, and Phylicia Rashad at its 18th annual Awards for Excellence in the Arts ceremony on Thursday, May 4 at The Four Seasons hotel in Chicago. Scott Ellis, an alumnus of the school and a Broadway director, will serve as master of ceremonies for the event.
Dennehy is a two-time Tony Award winner for his performances in Death of a Salesman and Long Day’s Journey Into Night. Greer is currently featured in the Second Stage Theatre production of Show People. Rashard, who won a Tony Award for her performance in A Raisin in the Sun and received a Tony nomination for Gem of the Ocean, recently starred in the Lincoln Center Theater production of the musical Bernarda Alba.
