Noah Bean, Ed Begley Jr., Gordon Clapp, Steven Goldstein, Rod McLachlan, and Fred Willard will star in the L.A. Theatre Works production of David Mamet’s Romance, which will run April 5-9 at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. The production will be directed by Neil Pepe, the artistic director of the Atlantic Theater Company in New York, where he also helmed the show.

Romance is a farce about a court case that devolves into nastiness and insanity, presided over by a pill-popping judge. Mamet’s other plays include Glengarry Glen Ross, American Buffalo, and Boston Marriage.

Bean played the role of Tim Cooper in the TV series Ed. Begley’s many film credits include The Accidental Tourist and A Mighty Wind. Clapp starred for many years on the TV series NYPD Blue and starred on Broadway in the revival of Glengarry Glen Ross. Goldstein appeared in the New York production of Romance. McLachlan has guest starred on such TV series as Judging Amy and Numb3rs. Willard is best known for his role on the TV series Fernwood 2Nite.
