Broadway Stars and an American Idol Will Shine in New York Pops Birthday Gala Concert

Marin Mazzie, Jason Danieley, Sutton Foster, Michele Lee, Maureen McGovern, Kitty Carlisle Hart, and three members of the Pizzarelli family — Bucky Pizzarelli, his son John, and John’s wife Jessica Molaskey — will join Skitch Henderson and The New York Pops for the orchestra’s 22nd birthday gala concert, titled Two by Two, at Carnegie Hall on Monday, May 9 at 7pm.

Hosted by Liz Smith, the event will honor veteran newsman Walter Cronkite, music industry leader Clive Davis, and philanthropist Mrs. Samuel J. LeFrak while also paying tribute to the late, great Broadway composer Cy Coleman. In addition to the stars noted above, American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino and Tony Award winner/Grammy Award nominee Heather Headley will perform.
