2004-2005 Outer Critics Circle Award Nominees Announced

The Outer Critics Circle, an organization of writers and commentators for all media covering New York theater, has announced its nominees for the 2004-05 season in 22 categories. In addition to the competitive honors, a Special Achievement Award will be given to Marjorie Gunner for having served 25 years as president of the Outer Critics Circle.

The members of the organization’s executive/nominating committee for this season are Aubrey Reuben (acting president), Marjorie Gunner (president emerita), Mario Fratti (vice-president) Glenn Loney (secretary), Patrick Hoffman (corresponding secretary), Louis A. Rachow (treasurer), and Simon Saltzman (member-at-large). The winners of awards in the following categories will be announced on Monday, May 9, and the awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 26 at Sardi’s restaurant, beginning at 4pm.
