The Actors’ Fund benefit concert of the new Stephen Sondheim-John Weidman musical Bounce, which had been scheduled for Sunday, May 9 at 7:30pm at the Majestic Theatre, has been postponed until further notice.

According to a press release issued by the concert’s publicist, “Due to the irreconcilable schedules of the original Bounce cast and creative team, it has been determined that it would not be prudent to proceed with the benefit at this time. It is the hope of all involved that we will move forward with this exciting project in the near future.”

The concert was to have featured the cast members of the 2003 Chicago and Washington, D.C. productions of the show, including Howard McGillin, Richard Kind, Michele Pawk, Jane Powell, Herndon Lackey, and Gavin Creel.

The Actors’ Fund staff is currently contacting all ticket-holders to inform them of the cancellation; for specific inquiries, phone 212-221-7300, ext. 133.
