2000 Outer Critics Circle Nominations

The Outer Critics Circle, an organization of writers on the New York theater for out-of-town newspapers, national publications, and other media beyond Broadway, has announced the nominees for its 1999-2000 season awards. In this, its 50th anniversary year, the Outer Critics Circle will present honors in 22 categories as well as Special Achievement Awards to Barry Humphries of Dame Edna: The Royal Tour and to Philip Seymour Hoffman and John C. Reilly of True West. Winners in the following categories will be announced on Monday, May 1, and the awards ceremony will take place on Thurday, May 25 at Sardi’s, 234 West 44th Street.
