Tony nominee Xanthe Elbrick (Coram Boy) and Patrick Fitzgerald (Mojo) will star in Irish Repertory Theatre's production of Gardner McKay's Sea Marks. Directed by Ciarán O'Reilly, the drama will begin performances April 23 and officially open on May 5. The play will run through June 15.
Sea Marks follows the long-distance love affair between Irish fisherman Colm (Fitzgerald) and English book publisher Timothea (Elbrick). McKay's play was first produced in New York in 1981 at the Players Theater and went on to receive the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Play.
O'Reilly's production will feature set design by Charlie Corcoran, costume design by Leon Dobkowski, lighting design by Michael Gottlieb, sound design by M. Florian Staab, music by Ryan Rumery, wig design by Robert-Charles Vallance, and properties by Sven Henry Nelson.
