LCT3 has announced complete casting for its upcoming New York premiere production of Pulitzer Prize winner Ayad Akhtar's The Who & The What. The drama, directed by Kimberly Senior, will feature Tala Ashe, Greg Keller, Nadine Malouf, and Bernard White. Performances begin on May 31 at Lincoln Center's Claire Tow Theater in advance of a June 16 opening and will run through July 13.

The Who & The What tells the story of a brilliant and outspoken Pakistani-American writer Zarina (Malouf), who attempts to please her family, particularly her traditional father (White), by dating a convert to Islam (Keller). However, an emotional confrontation breaks out when her father and sister (Ashe) read Zarina's manuscript on the topic of women and Islam.

Akhtar won the 2013 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for his play Disgraced, which was also directed by Kimberly Senior and produced by LCT3 last season. The Who & The What will feature sets by Jack Magaw, costumes by Emily Rebholz, lighting by Japhy Weidman, and sound by Jill BC Du Boff.
