How I Met Your Mother fans mourn the end of an era today, as the popular CBS sitcom airs its last episode this evening after a nine-season run. Fortunately for theatergoers, the finale has allowed a Broadway return for Neil Patrick Harris, who began his starring turn in the revival of Hedwig and the Angry Inch at the Belasco Theatre on March 29. Harris and his How I Met Your Mother costar Jason Segel brought some of this Broadway flair Inside the Actors Studio, as they celebrated the long-running comedy with a rendition of the "Confrontation" from Les Misérables — like you do — or at least, like Harris and Segel seem to do at every talk show they visit. If he weren't already booked for his own Broadway gig, you would think NPH was vying for a spot in the cast of Hedwig's rival revival.
