The National Corporate Theatre Fund will honor Tony and Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth and the Edgerton Foundation for their leadership in the arts at the NCTF 2014 Chairman's Awards Gala on March 31 at New York City's Pierre Hotel.

The event will include a special performance by Tony winner Jefferson Mays and Bruce Pinkham, stars of Broadway's currently running A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder; an excerpt from the Witness Uganda, currently at Boston's American Repertory Theater; and an appearance by comedian Lily Tomlin, who will offer a special salute to departing NCTF Board Members. Mays and Pinkham will perform "Better With a Man" accompanied by composer Steven Lutvak on piano.

"It is an honor to be recognized as NCTF's Theatre Artist Award winner this year," said Chenoweth in a statement. "It is through partnerships like those facilitated by NCTF, and the great theatres they support, that our visions as artists can be explored and developed for the public."

The evening will raise funds for NCTF's 10 nonprofit member theaters in the U.S., and proceeds will be matched with a grant of up to $250,000 from the Edgerton Foundation.
National Corporate Theatre Fund is a not-for-profit association dedicated to sustaining America's not-for-profit theaters through partnerships with companies, individuals, and artists.
