Jeanna de Waal, Cortney Wolfson, and Anna Eilinsfeld Take On New Roles in Kinky Boots

De Wall will slip into the role of Lauren as Annaleigh Ashford departs the show.

Jeanna de Waal will take over the role of Lauren in Broadway's Kinky Boots on March 4, after Tony nominee Annaleigh Ashford departs the musical.

Beginning March 4, Jeanna de Waal, Cortney Wolfson, and Anna Eilinsfeld will take on new roles in Broadway's Tony Award-winning production of Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein's Kinky Boots, playing at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. As previously announced, De Waal takes over the role of Lauren from Tony nominee Annaleigh Ashford. Cortney Wolfson, an ensemble member, moves into the role Nicola, and Anna Eilinsfeld will step into Courtney's ensemble role.

In addition, Andy Kelso recently took over the role of Charlie Price from Stark Sands. Billy Porter will continue to play the role of Lola, for which he won a Tony.

Kinky Boots, directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell, tells the story of Charlie Price, the owner of a failing shoe factory, who realizes that a sassy drag queen named Lola has the key to the business' success.

The current cast also features Daniel Stewart Sherman, Marcus Neville, Paul Canaan, Kevin Smith Kirkwood, Kyle Taylor Parker, Kyle Post, Charlie Sutton, Joey Taranto, Jake Odmark, Natalie Joy Johnson, Jennifer Perry, Douglas Baldeo, Sebastian Hedges Thomas, Adinah Alexander, Eugene Barry-Hill, Stephen Berger, Cameron Colley, Sandra DeNise, Jaden Jordan, Eric Leviton, Ellyn Marie Marsh, John Jeffrey Martin, Abby Mueller, Nathan Peck, Robert Pendilla, Stephen Tewksbury, and Timothy Ware.
