Idina Menzel "Lets It Go" With Jimmy Fallon and the Roots the Day After the Oscars

John Travolta may not know her name, but we do, and thanks to Jimmy, so does the late-night crowd.

Broadway's Idina Menzel (Wicked, If/Then) has the kind of voice that doesn't need any more musical backup than a lemon-shaped baby rattle and a triangle. So her rendition of Frozen's "Let It Go" was the perfect choice for one of Jimmy Fallon and the Roots' adorable children's-toy song covers.

The Tonight Show performance had a lot on Sunday's Oscar rendition. For one thing, there's not one butchered pronunciation of the Tony winner's name in this whole recording, and for another, with just a set of wooden blocks, Jimmy manages to keep way better time than the Oscar orchestra did.
