William Jackson Harper, Jenn Harris, Halley Feiffer, Jack Wetherall, Julie Halston, Carson Elrod, Matthew Saldivar, and Tony nominee Lois Smith are set to appear in Playing on Air's new radio broadcasts for public radio. The event will be presented by BRIC House and taped in front of live audiences on March 31.

The evening will feature Harper and Harris in Jacquelyn Reingold's 2B or Not 2B, directed by Michael Barakiva; Feiffer and Wetherall in John Guare's A Day for Surprises, directed by Jerry Zaks; and Halston, Elrod, Saldivar, and Smith in David Ives' St. Francis Preaches to the Birds, directed by John Rando.

Playing on Air has been producing short plays by prominent, contemporary American playwrights for a national audience on public radio and the Internet since 2012. The evenings are moderated by Claudia Catania, Playing on Air's founder and producer, who engages the creative teams in post-play conversation, excerpts of which are included in the broadcasts.

John Kilgore is the sound designer. The series composer is Tom Kochan.
