Get Out Your Boxing Gloves! Rocky Opens on Broadway Tonight

The new musical plays the Winter Garden Theatre.

Rocky, the new musical inspired by the Oscar-winning film of the same title, officially opens tonight, March 13, at Broadway’s Winter Garden Theatre. Directed by Alex Timbers, the show features a score by Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens and a book by Sylvester Stallone and Thomas Meehan.

Andy Karl and Margo Seibert lead the company as the iconic romantic pair of Rocky and Adrian, alongside Terence Archie as Apollo Creed, Dakin Matthews as Mickey, Danny Mastrogiorgio as Paulie, and Jennifer Mudge as Gloria. The ensemble includes Adrian Aguilar, Eric Anderson, Michelle Aravena, James Brown III, Sam J. Cahn, Vincent Corazza, Kevin Del Aguila, Ned Eisenberg, Bradley Gibson, Stacey Todd Holt, Sasha Hutchings, David Andrew Macdonald, Vasthy Mompoint, Vince Oddo, Okieriete Onaodowan, Adam Perry, Kristin Piro, Luis Salgado, John Schiappa, Samantha Shafer, Wallace Smith, Jenny Lee Stern, Dan'yelle Williamson, and Mark Zimmerman.
