Casting Announced for Public Theater Production of The Great Immensity

The Public Theater has announced complete casting for its upcoming New York premiere of The Civilian's The Great Immensity. Written and directed by Steven Cosson with songs by Michael Friedman, the "continent-hopping thriller" takes a theatrical look at the enormous environmental challenges that face modern society and how to effect change in order to solve them.

The complete cast features Damian Baldet (Machinal), Cindy Cheung (Lady in the Water), Dan Domingues (The Cherry Orchard), Rebecca Hart (Young Adult), Trey Lyford (Be the Death of Me), Chris Sullivan (The Electric Company), and Erin Wilhelmi (The Perks of Being a Wallflower).

The creative team includes scenic design by Mimi Lien, costume design by Sarah Beers, lighting design by Jeff Croiter, sound design by Alex Hawthorn (based on the original sound design by Ken Travis), projection design by Jason H. Thompson, and choreography by Tracy Bersley.

Performances begin April 11 in the Martinson Theater in advance of an April 24 opening and will run through May 1.
