A host of Broadway veterans will take part in the Broadway Battles Bullying concert on April 14 at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. The evening will benefit the newly created Michael Morones Foundation, which provides aid to the 11-year-old North Carolina boy who attempted to hang himself after being bullied by his classmates.

The list of performers is expected to include Metropolitan Opera star Joyce DiDonato, Tony winner Dan Fogler (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Jill Paice (Matilda The Musical), Stephen Wallem (Nurse Jackie), Carrie Manolakos (Hit List), Jennifer Laura Thompson (Wicked), Lauren Worsham (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder), Joe Iconis and family, Aidan Gemme (Waiting for Godot), Natalie Joy Johnson (Kinky Boots), Anastacia McLeskey (Violet), Shakina Nayfack (One Woman Show), Jake Lucas (Newsies), and Sydney Lucas (Fun Home). Additional participants will be announced shortly.

Featured on the evening's honorary host committee are Sirs Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart, Mary-Louise Parker, Paula Cole, Megan Hilty, Jonathan Groff, and Julia Murney.

Morones is currently undergoing intensive rehabilitation after being found just in time to save his life.
