Passion was recently extended for a second time, through April 19, by the nonprofit Classic Stage Company. The production stars Tony Award nominees Judy Kuhn (Les Misérables) and Melissa Errico (Amour), as well as Ryan Silverman (Cry-Baby).
Also featured in the cast are Stephen Bogardus (Colonel Ricci), Jeffry Denman (Lieutenant Barri), Jason Michael Evans (Private Augenti), Ken Krugman (Lieutenant Torasso), Orville Mendoza (Sergeant Lombardi), Tom Nelis (Doctor Tambourri), and Will Reynolds (Major Rizzoli/Ludovic), along with John Antony and Amy Justman.
In addition to director/designer John Doyle, the production has music direction by Rob Berman, orchestrations by Jonathan Tunick, costume design by Ann Hould-Ward, lighting design by Jane Cox, and sound design by Dan Moses Schreier.
Passion is the first production in Classic Stage's Musical Theatre Initiative.
